New ICA Services Centre Opening in Singapore on 7 April 2024

SINGAPORE—A new chapter unfolds for immigration services as the Immigration and Checkpoints Authority (ICA) Services Centre (ISC) is set to open on 7 April 2024. Nestled conveniently at 2 Crawford Street, right next to the existing ICA building, the ISC promises to enhance the public’s experience with more streamlined processes.

Seamless Transactions Ahead

With an aim to provide a more “seamless transaction experience,” the ISC will consolidate multiple services into a single touchpoint, eliminating the need for visitors to navigate different levels of the current building.

  • Operating Hours: 8am to 4.30pm, Monday to Friday
  • Self-Collection: Starting July 2025, identity cards and passports can be self-collected from automated kiosks—no appointments necessary!

Transition Period Details

As part of the transition, the ICA building will not provide any counter services from 1 to 4 April 2024. During this time, walk-ins will be suspended. However, urgent requests will be entertained on a case-by-case basis, including:

  • Passports for urgent travel
  • Oath-taking for minors turning 22 between 1 to 6 April
  • Formalities for expiring immigration passes during this period

ICA encourages the public to submit applications online through its website or the MyICA mobile app during the transition.

Parking and Accessibility

Heads up for those planning to drive! There’ll be no public parking at the ISC until 2027 due to ongoing construction work at the ICA’s car park. So, it’s best to take public transport—Lavender MRT Station is just a two-minute walk away. If you must drive, alternative public parking options are available along North Bridge Road, Crawford Lane, and French Road.

Stay tuned for more updates as the ICA is committed to further enhancing its customer service experience!
