Upcoming Release of N-Level and Secondary 1 Results in Singapore

The Ministry of Education (MOE) has announced important dates for students in Singapore: the release of the 2024 Singapore-Cambridge N-Level examination results and the Secondary 1 posting results. Students, mark your calendars!

N-Level Examination Results

The results for N-Level exams will be available on 16 December 2024. Candidates can collect their results from their respective secondary schools starting from 2pm. If you can’t make it in person, no worries! You can appoint a proxy to collect your results, just don’t forget to bring the required documents for verification.

  • Proxy collection for results is allowed.
  • Private candidates can access their results online from 2.45pm using their Singpass.

For those eyeing courses at the Institute of Technical Education (ITE), applications can be submitted online through the ITE application portal from 2.30pm on 16 December until 5pm on 19 December.

Secondary 1 Posting Results

Just two days later, on 18 December 2024, the Secondary 1 posting results will be released at 9am. Students will have the option to check their results without physically reporting to their posted schools. Instead, students should check their school’s website for information regarding reporting details, book lists, and uniform purchases.

Parents who are registered on Parents Gateway will receive notifications directly from the schools in the afternoon when the results are released.

Next Steps for Students

Whether you’re gearing up for the N-Level results or the S1 posting, it’s crucial to know your options. MOE encourages students to explore various education and career pathways, and to consult with teachers or education and career guidance counsellors for assistance.

If you have yet to secure a place at your posted secondary school by the first day of school on 2 January 2025, reach out to your school to confirm your enrolment.

To navigate through these important transitions, always refer to resources like the MySkillsFuture website and MOE’s CourseFinder for guidance.
