Motorcyclist Attempts to Flee
A 26-year-old motorcyclist had quite the adventure on the night of 7 December 2024. During routine checks along Alexandra Road, he was signalled to stop by the Traffic Police at around 10 p.m. However, instead of complying, he took off on foot—only to be apprehended shortly after.
- Charges include riding without a valid licence and insurance.
- Allegations of drug-related offences have been referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau.
- The motorcyclist sustained minor injuries but was conscious upon being transported to the hospital.

Unusual Arrest Outside Bedok Police Division
Meanwhile, on 8 December 2024, a 34-year-old man was arrested outside the Bedok Police Division HQ. Residents reported seeing him lying dazed on the pavement around 5.25 p.m.
Witnesses described a scene with multiple police officers surrounding the man, who appeared to be acting strangely, even banging his head on the pavement.
- The man was found with suspected drugs and drug-related paraphernalia.
- His case has also been referred to the Central Narcotics Bureau.
