SINGAPORE: A 57-year-old man, Seng Guan Heng, has been charged with multiple offences stemming from an incident on polling day for the 2025 General Election. This incident, which took place on 3 May 2024, involved him damaging campaign materials belonging to the People’s Action Party (PAP) in Hougang.

Seng allegedly broke flag poles and damaged five PAP posters, causing about S$205 (US$161) in damages. Reports from the police indicate that he was intoxicated at the time, using vulgar language and making threatening gestures towards PAP volunteers present at the scene.
