Police Seek Public Help in Finding Missing Elderly Man and Teenage Girl

The Singapore Police Force is reaching out to the public for assistance in locating two individuals reported missing—Chan Tuck Chew, 74, and Lau Jia En Shannel, 14. Their families are deeply concerned, and the police are keen to gather any information that could lead to their safe return.

Chan Tuck Chew

  • Age: 74
  • Last seen: 4am on 22 December 2024, near Block 505 Jelapang Road
  • Physical condition: Suffers from dementia and Parkinson’s
  • Clothing: Grey-and-white checkered polo shirt

According to his family, this is not the first time that Chan has wandered off, but he typically returns within a couple of hours. They expressed their concern, noting that it has been more than 30 hours since he was last seen. “We are afraid he may pass out with no food or water,” a family member revealed.

Lau Jia En Shannel

  • Age: 14
  • Last seen: 3pm on 20 December 2024, around Block 773 Bedok Reservoir View

The police are also anxious to locate Shannel and are appealing for any witnesses or individuals with information regarding her whereabouts.
