Visitor Experience

Since opening registration on 15 December 2023, around 15,000 visitors have signed up to experience the exhibition. Each booking, which accommodates up to five people, can be made up to 30 days in advance, ensuring strong interest in this unique opportunity. Walk-in visits are also accepted based on available capacity.

Environmental and Employment Impact

Terminal 5 is set to be a game-changer, allowing Changi Airport to increase its capacity by 50 million passengers annually. The new terminal will play a pivotal role in addressing challenges such as manpower constraints, an ageing population, and climate change. By creating job opportunities in sectors like data science and systems operations, it promises a brighter future for employment in the region.

As Stanley Seah, a visitor at the exhibition, remarked, the displays are “very impressive” and offer enlightening insights into how T5 will evolve to meet new challenges. Plans for its completion are slated for the mid-2030s, but anticipation is already building regarding its final design and features.

Entrance to the exhibition is free, and visitors can check availability and make reservations by visiting the official Changi Airport website.
