Collision of YANGZE 22 and VEGA DREAM in China’s Yangtze River Raises Concerns

Singapore’s maritime community is closely monitoring the aftermath of a collision that occurred on 30 December 2023 between two bulk carriers in the Yangtze River, China. The incident involved YANGZE 22, a vessel registered in Singapore, and VEGA DREAM, flagged under Japan, both of which fortunately reported no injuries among their crews.

Details of the Incident
